Biodegradable Plastic : Eco-Friendly Product

Share with you how are the plastic bags contribute to pollution and how can we avoid them

Conventional plastic disposable product such as shopping bags (which should be re-used as Garbage bags), Polypropylene Containers, Cups, Cutlery, Styrofoam lunch box and etc will cause unhygenic condition that should not be reused. They will take centuries to degrade, causes drainage clogging and need more landfill to dispose. in result, create a very serious pollution and waste disposal problem with dire environmental impact.

Developed countries as in EU seek hydro & oxo biodegradable plastics as part of their waste management solution. With reference to PRW.com dated 21st July 2008, Member of European Parliament, consultant on EU environment policy & waste management specialist, Dr. Caroline Jackson urged the European Parliament must give more support to hydro-biodegradable and oxo-biodegradable plastics which is "harmlessly degrade at the end of their useful life"

Lets see how are the biodegradable plastics works, if we put a biodegradable plastic bag at sunshine and rain for around 2 weeks, it will look like this, please be noted that this is happen naturally, no human force is applied:

Imagine how the world will looks like if we keep on using non-degradable plastic bags

Last but not least, taking care of environment should start from daily life. Let us just start by using biodegradable plastic bags :)

p/s : You can re-use the plastic bags (even bio-degradable plastic bag) as long as it is in good condition, no need to dispose it every time. Always Remember, Re-use and Recycle.
